Well, that was Singapore - you get a very different view when you're staying with a resident than you do from a hotel. After a realtively lazy weekend to get us in the holiday mood (and catch up on some much needed sleep!); onday saw us truely kick into tourist mode. We started with a gym/swim session before heading to Sentosa island - with an exploration of the fort and a speed hit on the luge, where Clare took full advantage of the 3rd "free" ride to beat Colin to the bottom with her superior driving skills (can you guess who's writing this?!); on to high tea in the Tiffen room at Raffles, where Colin caught up on his 4 cups of tea for the day, accompanied of course with a selection of sweet and savoury nibbles - they only refill the cup when you refill your plate (appparently!); we finished the day with a trip to the night safari at Singapore Zoo, where nocturnal animals perform or simply appear for the public.
